While some top-notch leaders from tech's biggest companies enjoy engaging in interesting hobbies, some participate in expensive and unusual activities matching their ultra-high net worth and some spend their spare time in more typical ways, like hitting the gym or playing sports.

So, it's definitely noteworthy to learn how these famous industry players spend their scarce time outside their extremely demanding work schedules and still enjoy some varied hobbies.

Tim Cook

Even though Apple CEO Tim Cook is very much a private person, he reportedly loves cycling and rock climbing, and the Yosemite and Zion National Parks are among his favourite vacay destinations.

Mark Zuckerberg 

The Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has of late opened up about his love for mixed martial arts. He enjoys both; being a spectator and a participant in combat sports and recently he was even spotted on the ringside at the UFC fights in November 2023. His Instagram handle also reveals that he is more than skilfully gifted at playing the acoustical guitar.

Jeff Bezos

Jeff Bezos, the Amazon founder is today a dedicated fitness freak. He seems to have become increasingly fit over the years, and his deadly dedication to working out is the reason behind this transformation. Bezos mostly engrosses in low-impact, high-resistance workouts like rowing and lifting weights. 

Larry Ellison

For Oracle Corporation’s Larry Ellison, it's all about water sports. Larry Ellison enjoys sailing. He partly sponsored the Oracle Team USA sailing team, which won the 33rd America's Cup yacht race in 2010. And along with sponsorship, the Oracle CTO Ellison has also been participating in yacht racing himself since the 1990s.

Larry Page 

Unlike his fellow Google cofounder Brin, Larry Page is more interested in outdoor activities and is often seen doing kiteboarding in the snow-capped mountains of Alaska. Page owns several private islands in the South Pacific and organic farms depicting his deep interest in nature.

Sundar Pichai 

Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai is a dedicated fan of the soccer club FC Barcelona. Pichai visited the team in 2017, getting his very own customized Barcelona jersey, and even clicking photos with the Ballon d'Or trophy and the great Lionel Messi.

In a true billionaire style, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has an expensive hobby that surely requires some serious money. Gates loves to collect luxury cars, especially his favourite Porsches. He reportedly has a 20-car garage at his estate in Medina, Washington.

Tesla CEO and X owner, the great Elon Musk is a gamer. While he does spend some of his leisure time on his social media handles, but, outside that and in between running multiple companies, Musk has been said to enjoy playing video games.
