Vinod Cookware has initiated a touching and progressive Mother’s Day campaign that will redefine traditional narratives around motherhood and cooking, and break the old-school stereotype beliefs. Vinod emphasises the fact that— 'Not every mommy loves to cook'. In collaboration with Network Advertising and Ten Films, this campaign’s film delivers a fresh, far-reaching perspective that mothers should be honoured for who they are, not just for what they can cook.

Commencing with a strong phrase, the digital film draws away attention from worn-out cliches of “maa ke hath ka khana” and recognises the noiseless love of powerful mothers who may not know cooking, but who can express their pure love and care in other meaningful ways.

The brand designed a 90-second short film for its social media platforms, including Instagram and YouTube, to reach and relate to widespread digital audiences.

To show genuine warmth and relatability, the film is shot in a regular home with an authentic, lived-in space décor, purposefully avoiding rich, sophisticated sets. To draw out an emotional connection, the video casts everyday characters, with a real kitchen and real food. The story starts with a genuine conversation between a mother and her daughter, revealing a bond that is shaped not only by meals but by attachment, support, and unconditional love. The tale displays how the mother, who doesn’t enjoy cooking, still finds her way to nourish her child, with food that is sometimes ordered, or maybe cooked by others, but is always served with the love ingredient.

The daughter’s expressions gently pull apart old traditional expectations from moms, upholding that mother’s affection isn’t just limited to her ability to cook.

According to Sunil Agarwal, Managing Director, Vinod Cookware India Private Limited, “As a cookware brand, we are often expected to reinforce the traditional association between moms and the kitchen. But at Vinod, we believe love cannot and must not be measured by time spent cooking. This Mother’s Day, we chose to honour the daily acts of care that often go unnoticed and the emotional nourishment that transcends recipes and routines. This is a heartfelt tribute to every mother who questioned her being simply because she didn’t follow usual norms. We at Vinod Cookware see her, value her, and celebrate her.”

The campaign draws attention and breaks the conventional norm that many mothers and fathers don’t enjoy cooking, and that doesn’t lessen the love they give. So, Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers who bring warmth to any food, just with their love ingredient.
