Bill Gates is offering Rs 36 lakh to UPI app developer

Bill Gates is offering around Rs 36 lakh ($50,000) as winning reward to anyone who is able to create a UPI app for feature phones (keypad phones) in India.

• 2nd winner will get a cash prize of $30,000 (Rs 21.5 lakh approx)

• 3rd winner will get $20,000 (Rs 14.34 lakh approximately)

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation collaborated with CII.CO & National Payments Corporation of India (NCPI) to launch a ” grand challenge ” for startups & individuals.
