Lady Gaga has won six Grammys , done five concert tours , have performed at the Super Bowl , sold more than 11 million albums , and has achieved great success with a sizable fortune.
But news of her bankruptcy made everyone SHOCK!!!!
Lady Gaga was nominated for Oscar in 2016 for Best Original Song in“THE HUNTING GROUND “.
The drama “ A STAR IS BORN “ made her secure for the two- Oscar Nominations for her work as Best Actress and Best Original Song at this Year’s Academy Awards on February 24, 2019.
Reviving her second worldwide concert tour from 2009-2011 , Lady Gaga said to The Financial Times:
“I actually went bankrupt after the first extension of The Monster Ball . and it was funny that I didn’t know!! And I remember I called everybody and said ,”Why is everyone saying I have no money ? This is Ridiculous, I have five No. 1 singles.”
And they said ,”Well , you’re $3million in debt.”
She responded that pursuing a career as a Pop Star has never been about the money :
“ The beauty for me about being an artist is that the dream will never die, because I’m not obsessed with material things and don’t care about the attention of the public , but only the love of my fans , so for me it’s about how much more devoted , how much better an artist can I become”
She concluded with ,” The only big things I have purchased are my dad’s heart value and a Rolls- Royce for my parents , on their anniversary ,…………. .Other than that , I put everything in the show”
Lady Gaga explains her Motto for the Life as “ its honestly true that money means nothing to me.“.
